Headphone or earphones are required for full effect. Het Noordbrabants Museum is the place where cultural heritage of North Brabant is preserved and exhibited. Even though the museum only has pieces about North Brabant, its collection is aimed at everyone. My project team and I had to create an interactive experience for the rooms that are dedicated to the artist Jan Sluijters. Jan Sluijters was a wild artist with a vibrant life, his art was not accepted by his contemporaries. Despite the fact that he was making controversial art, he became very famous in the Netherlands. It was decided to design a product close to the perception of young people, at the same time experiencing the vibrant life of Jan Sluijters in a three dimensional audio tour. Different from an ordinary tour, it interacts with the user and gives the feeling being in the same place as the artist. Whilst passing the artwork, the audio heard through the headphones responds to it, enveloping the user in the world of Jan Sluijters.
